Despite being May the Fourth (May the Fourth be with you) I've used up my Star Wars quota last week, so this week I've turned to Josie for inspiration, asking her to put together 10 tracks and why she likes them...
So here's what she came up with. These are all direct quotes by the way. Everything I type below, after now, is what Josie says. I had no creative involvement whatsoever... so I do apologise!
And remember (this is still me don't worry) you can hear and follow the playlist here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5uvGPB5HsOhdICfOxGVqDZ?si=WpvAt5jlRiySiDncJaIDqw
NUMBER 10.
Run the World (girls) - Beyonce

This came on a lot in my mix during circuits when I rowed, and made every work harder. Sweat-tastic.
NUMBER 9.
I Want It All - Queen

Ditto. Encourages lots of sweating...
NUMBER 8.
Under Pressure - Queen and David Bowie

The beat is so good in this one. Not to do with the gym. Just because the beat is good. Even if the video is weird.
NUMBER 7.
Africa - Toto

This reminds me of touching down in South Africa, about to start on my volunteering for the nature reserve. I saw elephants, I saw rhinos, I helped lift a buffalo into a van... Aw man it was incredible. Bless the rains indeed.
NUMBER 6.
I'm Still Standing - Elton John

We watched Rocket Man again recently, and it's a very positive song that's great to dance to.
NUMBER 5.
Chinstrap Penguins - Jacob Shea

Because I like walking along to it when it's cold because I feel like a chinstrap penguin.
NUMBER 4.
Who Do You Love - The Chainsmokers and Five Seconds of Summer

It sounds like summer.
NUMBER 3.
There Will Be Time - Mumford & Sons Baaba Maal

It reminds me of travelling around Croatia and Spain in 2016. Ah to be on holiday.
NUMBER 2.
High Hopes - Panic! At the Disco

I used to love their songs when I was younger, and I loved this as soon as it came out last year.
NUMBER 1.
Romeo and Juliet - Dire Straits

I like this one because I can sing it with my dad. Dad loves a good late 70s epic.

So there we have it. Week 7 and we have a guest nominee this week. And I might do this more often, because it'll make me listen to different things too.
So remember you can find the playlist here, on my Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5uvGPB5HsOhdICfOxGVqDZ?si=WpvAt5jlRiySiDncJaIDqw
Until next time I suppose... Will they be mine? Will they be someone else's... guess you'll have to wait and see!
