Well. I'm going to say it now. February kiiiiiiind of got away from me. Things were insane at work - but in a very good way - so I've had a lot of finishing post 7pm evenings, on top of studying in the mornings and on weekends for my Certificate in Marketing... so my time hasn't really been my own. Below is quite an accurate representation of some days at work.... :p

But 19 Tom Hanks films is pretty good to be honest... and I did watch some new ones, along with revisiting some old ones, so I achieved something at least! :p

But that said, I want to focus on the positives, and the future. So who cares if I only watched 19 Tom Hanks films and didn't stick to my 5k and 10k step goals... I care more about what I'm doing for March!

March is going to be a great month. March is the month where the country is slowly going to start opening up again.

A few positives for me to look forward to are the fact I'm seeing my mum this month after having not seen her since November. Another is that it's the start of the 30th birthday seasons this month. And of course the lifts in weather with it starting to get warmer, with much sunnier weather. AND - on a much more Rachel note - it's the start of the season of NEW FILMS! Where the big, blockbuster films are being advertised for the cinemas re-opening in May..... so I'm choosing to focus on these.

But you know the other good thing about finishing February for another year? No one has to worry about spelling it for another year. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm glad iPhones/Macs autocorrect it because I get it wrong every single time.

PHYSICAL HEALTH: MARCH EDITION

This month I'm just going to be more active in general. I'm going to get out and do at least 1 walk per day, substituting that with a 2k run every 2 days to keep those dastardly shin splints at bay. My sister is also doing a walking challenge - walk 350km in 31 days (which roughly equates to walking 11.3km a day!) - so I will be joining her on some of those excursions. Probably on the weekend!

MENTAL HEALTH: MARCH EDITION

And for my mental health, I'm bringing back the 1 photo a day, because who doesn't love things that make you smile right? But I'm also going to recommend 1 new song a day! I already do my weekly playlists, but this list will be extra. Keep an eye out below for those tunes!

PHYSICAL HEALTH: MARCH EDITION STEP TALLY

In March, I’m also doing the Courtney Black 28 day challenge. It’s tough, it’s 5 days a week with 2 rest days... and it’s already making a difference after just one week.

So far this week, 5 workouts, just over 1,740 calories burned. Legs stronger, back is stronger, tummy is slightly flatter and the best part? I’m feeling happier! :D
