There won‘t be as much of an update for this month unfortunately, as September, as per usual, is one of the busiest months in the industry I work in.

It’s London International Shipping Week (which I typed as Shopping again - my fingers are clearly telling me something!) this week, which means the whole of London is all about Shipping, which means we’re all about Shipping too!

Coming up this month I have my walk - 26 miles round the Peak District - and then I’ve started back up with Marketing Course module 3, Digital Marketing Techniques (of which this blog is classed as a tranche of the Digital Marketing toolbox, I‘ll have you know!) so it‘s going to be busy.

But he’s a wee update all the same…

I spent August in Bath and it was amazing. Although I was still working every day, it was really relaxing actually. I was able to properly switch off at weekends and it was good to get some me-time. Josie and I crossed paths for 3 days before we switched (she stayed in Bath for 2 weeks whilst I came back to London) and it felt good to be back in London too.

What did I do in Bath? Well, the weather was utterly crap so I mainly just watched films on the weekends to be honest, which you would have been able to see reflected well in my August film tally (I watched 40!!!). It included a couple of trips to the cinema, but as Bath’s local cinema is an Odeon (where I have to pay for tickets instead of getting tickets via my monthly subscription like I do at Cineworld) I had to pick my films carefully (Snake Eyes and The Last Letter From Your Lover). I decided to wait to see Free Guy for the IMAX experience, and boy am I glad I did! WHAT A FILM!

But September I am starting to ramp up the physical exercise again... Which leads us nicely into the next section!

PHYSICAL HEALTH: SEPTEMBER EDITION

I have my walk - which is scaring me half to death. 26 miles and the furthest practice walk I have done was 16 miles a few weeks ago. Oh well, it’ll be an adventure. I’ll post some pictures below, and I’ll let you know how well my legs are feeling after a couple of days. I am prepared for muscle ache for at least a week!

But that’s not all that’s this month. September 21st is when the next Courtney Black 28 day challenge starts, so Josie and I will be taking part in that… looking forward to getting my ab back (and yes I do mean singular!) and maybe even a few more, who knows!

MENTAL HEALTH: SEPTEMBER EDITION

As September is busy-a-mundo, I’m going to be boring and just post screencaps of the films I’ve watched this month. It’s mentally satisfying for me because I have pictures of films on here, which makes me happy, and may give you an insight into why I watch all these things in the first place - it’s usually a dreamy lead - or sometimes it‘s the soundtrack.

But there are a fair few coming out this month, Bond included, and we have not one but TWO Marvel movies to look forward to in the coming months (November and December respectively) so stay tuned for photos!
